After last night’s strong winds (about 56 mph) we woke to another beautiful sunny morning with just a hint of a breeze. After breakfast we set out to walk along Gott Beach (Traigh_Mhòr – the Big Beach). We had gone about a mile when a friend stopped their car to talk to us and we ended up going to her house in Ruaig for coffee and a wonderful view from the upstairs’ living room windows. Suitably refreshed we set out to walk back the four miles, for the most part along the beach. To Alan’s great delight, we had a clear view of the “MV Clansman” as she entered the Bay, but what really caught our attention was the increasing number of geese. We could not resist taking one or two photographs along the way. Mouse over for titles and as usual if you click on one of the photos you will get a slideshow of larger photographs.
