An Talla is Tiree’s community hall at Crossapol. Literally “the meeting place” or “hall”, it opened on 1st July 2004, replacing an older hall on the same site. It has quickly established itself as a major part of the island social scene and is now used for ceilidhs and dances, music concerts and plays as well as youth activities, public meetings and private functions.
On a Sunday morning An Talla is the meeting place for Tiree Baptist Church. It is a fellowship where ALL are welcome.
Every other Tuesday afternoon during term time, An Talla plays host to Mainly Music. Led by Ishbel Campbell and Becky Wright’ Mainly Music is an opportunity for adults and children to build memories and spend time together, sharing special time with each other.
