Life On Tiree is grateful for the provision of education on the island even although we are well beyond  the age for primary or secondary education. The local education authority website states, Tiree High School is unique in providing education for the community of Tiree from pre-school to eighteen years of age and beyond.  Teachers on the island face very different challenges from their counterparts on the mainland. Even attending courses on the mainland can be an adventure in the winter months. What is impressive is the dedication and commitment of the teachers. Thanks to all who work in the school!
