After a three month spell, serving as one of the winter relief vessels and having her annual service, it is great to welcome the Mighty Clansman home. You may have left Castlebay with the sun on your visor, but you arrived in Tiree under grey skies and leaden seas. You are forgiven for berthing late this evening.
Apart from Sundays and Mondays, and barring break down, we will have the Clansman in her home waters. Additionally, on Thursdays there is the pleasure of witnessing her make her way through the Gunna Sound on her sailing to Barra and return, thus calling twice at Tiree in the one day. One enthusiast said when she left Castlebay, she is looking very resplendent and with her new paint . . .. you could almost see a smile on her face – clearly glad to be back!
