Yesterday evening ‘LOTI’ suffered a technical fault when sailing for Barra and South Uist and had to turn back to Oban. The Clansman whose day had begun about 4.30am then took over the sailing. Thus ‘LOTI’ had to stand in for the ‘Clansman’ today as the latter was still berthed at South Uist.
