On Saturday the 13th February the MV Hebrides,
replacement vessel for the MV Clansman
which is presently in dry dock,
called twice at Tiree.

The first sailing arrived Tiree 9:17 and departed 9.44
The majority of the traffic was commercial vehicles.
However there were also many foot passengers.
The word is that cattle prices were well down on last year.
The market itself was much reduced.
All in all disappointing.
The second sailing berthed in Tiree at 17:30 and departed 17:55.
Compared to the morning sailing it appeared lightly loaded.
There were a reasonable number of cars inbound.
Outbound it appeared much quieter.
This is ‘Life on Tiree’.
