Morning and evening, here on the Isle of Tiree,
there is real sense of the hours of daylight lengthening,
as the last full week of February draws to a speedy close.

Sunrise this morning on Tiree was at 7:28.
Sunset this evening will be at 17:53.
And it is noticeable.
The rising sun cast a golden glow
over the crofting township of Scarinish.
All this visible from our south and west facing windows.

From the rising of the sun
to the place where it sets,
the name of the Lord is to be praised.
The Bible – Psalm 113:3
