Today dawned bright, sunny and calm. The MV Clansman entered into the silvery waters of Gott Bay. It was just as if a spotlight had been focused on the ferry. What a contrast with the day before when the water was cold and leaden.
Due to the MV Isle of Lewis being in dry dock for urgent work to rectify engine failure, the Clansman was rescheduled to arrive in Tiree at 9:25 instead of 11:05. Ideal for those having to travel to the Mainland but not so convenient for those coming to the island. The 5:45am sailing meant vehicles had to be at the ferry terminal in Oban no later than 5:00am. The early sailing was to enable a crossing to Barra and back upon its return to Oban from Tiree.
Those arriving on Tiree this morning were treated to warm sunshine.

Walking back home
you could not fail to notice
that the recent warmer weather
was being reflected in the resurgence of the wild flora.

The Clansman the bringer of sunshine.
Can she do the same again tomorrow?
