Once again Tiree is the sunniest place in the UK.
15.9 hours of bright blue sunshine.
At first light the sky was bright.
At 4:00am, before sunrise, the sky was promising.
Even the moon acted as a herald of the sun that was rising.
The red sky in the morning was no shepherds warning.
The rising sun was reflected by Scarinish Lighthouse and Post Office.
No wonder the month of June is traditionally known as ‘Flaming June’.
And so it was 15.9 hours of glorious sunshine.
Blue sky and sea right through to sunset.
And the gloamin’ after that!
That was the 1st of June.
The 2nd of June is equally bright.
This is the life – on sunny Tiree.
