Lunch was enjoyed at the Lodge Hotel.
Lunch over we asked our chauffeur,
“Where would you like to go?”
“The choice is yours!”

It was a warm, sunny afternoon.
Gott Bay was resplendent in the sunshine.
Out in the bay there was a yacht lying at anchor.

“The choice is yours.”
“You’re only here a short time.”
“Can we visit the seals at West Hynish?”
What a good choice!”
The decision was taken to travel via Balephetrish and Cornaig,
At Cornaig we pass the popular Millhouse Hostel.
Then on to Loch Bhasapol and Wild Diamond.

A brief stop at Balevullin to admire the bay and beach.
For many this is a favourite spot on the island.
Then it was on to Soroby.

That’s the joy of Tiree you can so easily cross from shore to shore.
You are never far form a beach wherever you are.
Now over to West Hynish and ‘Seal Island’.
(Further pictures here.)

Both sons have a real soft spot for Balephuil bay and beach.
Here are views out to the distant Skerryvore Lighthouse.
Here you stand on the Atlantic shore.
It’s back to Balemartine with its Highland Cattle.
Out to Hynish and the Hynish Centre.
Then back to Scarinish.

The chauffeur insist on being back in time to see the ferry arrive.
Must get our priorities right!
Evening Meal First.
This is ‘Life on Tiree’ thankful for a great chauffeur.
