This evening was the last additional sailing in connection with the Music Festival.
It provided another afternoon sailing to the island from Oban.
It avoided an early morning rise for those travelling.

It enabled those wishing to the visit Tiree for the day to do so.
Instead of the return sailing to Barra, it was a return sailing to Oban.
It was good to see some walkers making the most of the opportunity.
Because of the change to the timetable there was no Experience Tiree Tour.
As the ferry sailed for Oban it carried with it the Big Top from the festival.
However, the marquee for Friday’s Tiree show arrived on the vessel.
It was a case of little and large – one off and one on.

After yesterday’s sunshine we never really recovered from last night’s thunderstorm.
However as the ‘Clansman’ prepared to sail there was a brief break in the clouds.
The waters of Gott Bay like the sy behind was transformed.
It was a silvery sea.

This is ‘Life on Tiree’ waiting for the Tiree show on Friday.
