Friday ended the run of wall to wall sunshine.
For the first time in over a week we woke to wet windows.
Yet the rain did not amount to much – hardly enough to satisfy our crofters.

As daylight hours drew in the western sky began to glow.
The glow served to alert you to the colourful sunset.
The first view was outside our home.

Making my way down to the pier ‘An Turas’ faintly reflected the glow.
However it was down by the pier that Gott Bay was transformed.
Sand, sea and sky were colour washed.

Enjoy!
This is ‘Life on Tiree’ simply enjoying Friday.
An evening when sand, sea and sky were colour washed.

And for an encore!
