It’s Tuesday the 30th of June and there is a slight easing of lockdown in Scotland. Today’s ferry had an amazing amount of traffic taking into account that it is only supposed to be sailing at 18% of capacity due to social distancing measures. What was encouraging was to see some of the school teachers able to get to the Mainland. Due to capacity issues and the booking system there is great uncertainty over the ability for islanders to return to the island in the short to medium term future.

On this very same day ‘Life on Tiree has prepared and published ‘Marine Traffic – Ferry Interesting’. Click on the photograph and link below to read this Ferry Interesting account of a long held interest.
